                                ORDINANCE NO. 9558
                   
                   
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, SECTION 18-123, RELATIVE TO 
                   LANDFILL FEES.
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  Section 18-123, Chattanooga City Code, Part 
       II, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto 
       subsections (h) and (i) as follows:
           "(h)	 All brush and wood waste that is disposed of at the 
                 wood recycling facility shall be charged at the 
                 rate of ten dollars ($10.00) per ton, with a 
                 minimum of ten dollars ($10.00) per load.  Provided 
                 that City residents disposing of waste from their 
                 own property shall not be charged for a pick-up 
                 load of such wastes.
       
       	    (i)	 All demolition waste that is disposed of at the 
                 demolition site shall be charged at the rate of ten 
                 dollars ($10.00) per ton, with a minimum of ten 
                 dollars ($10.00) per load.  Provided that City 
                 residents disposing of waste from their own 
                 property shall not be charged for a pick-up load of 
                 such wastes."
       
       	    	 SECTION 2.  That this ordinance shall take effect two 
       (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
